About Dr. Jin
Bio: Dr. Pukai Jin, DOM, LAc
Dr. Pukai Jin is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and licensed acupuncturist whose clinical practice is uniquely informed by his concurrent expertise in high-acuity hospital biomedicine. This dual perspective shapes his approach to ensuring that acupuncture practice is grounded in essential biomedical competency, patient safety, and effective interdisciplinary collaboration.

Clinically, Dr. Jin specializes in acupuncture for sports injury rehabilitation, pain management, and mental health support, utilizing both classical and modern protocols, including Battlefield Auricular Acupuncture (BFA) for acute and stress-related conditions. He also has dedicated experience in providing fertility support within a TCM framework. As the Founder and Medical Director of ProCare Acupuncture and Wellness, he leads a practice committed to this comprehensive, integrated model of care.

Dr. Jin’s academic foundation includes a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. He is licensed in Virginia and Maryland, is NCCAOM certified, and contributes to the profession’s growth through leadership roles, including Vice President of the Young Acupuncturists Association of America and Council Member of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS).

His professional mission is to ensure that the practice of acupuncture and Oriental medicine is both authentically grounded in TCM principles and rigorously informed by essential biomedical knowledge for maximum patient safety and efficacy.
